Following the successful completion of water testing this week, the Swimming Pool at Ionad Spòrs Leòdhais in Stornoway will re-open to the public from tomorrow morning, Friday 25 October.
The pool was refilled and brought back up to temperature at the end of last week and testing began on Monday morning. Clear results have now been received, allowing the pool to safely re-open to the public.
The following interim timetable will run on Friday and Saturday before a full timetable is made available from Monday 27th October:

08:50-11:50 – 25m Open Swimming
12:00-13:00 – Lane Swimming
13:15-20:00 – 25m Open Swimming
20:15-21:45 – Lane Swimming
Saturday 25th October
08:10-09:30 – Lane Swimming
09:45-13:45 – 25m Open Swimming
14:00-14:50 – Fun Session 1
15:10-16:00 – Fun Session 2
16:15-17:45 – 25m Open & Lane Swimming
18:00-18:45 – 16m Open Swimming
19:00-19:30 – 25m Open Swimming
The Jacuzzi spa pool will remain closed at this time due to essential maintenance work, however the sauna and steam room are open as normal.
