Taigh Shiphoirt (Seaforth House) is a newly built 52 bedded care home in Stornoway comprising of 4 wings {Bosta, Garry, Coll, and Dalmore} each with 13 en-suite bedrooms. The care home offers 24 hour care and support to older people who may have a range of complex health issues, including dementia.
Valtos and Bremner Court

Bremner Court in Stornoway adjacent to Seaforth House is a housing with extra care model offering 35 independent flats to people assessed as requiring support to enable them to live independently. The care and support is available 24 hours and can range from support/check visits to providing support with personal care tasks such as washing, dressing, medication.
Valtos is a respite facility based on the ground floor of Bremner Court with 15 self contained flats offering respite/short breaks for adults with wide range of health issues, for example, physical disabilities or dementia. The facility enables informal carers in the community who care and support them throughout the year to get a well deserved short break from their caring role. There is also the availability of in reach support of the START (Short term assessment and reablement) team to service users accessing respite who would benefit from receiving intense support to maximize their independence.
