Shellfish Toxin levels – Loch Leurbost and Loch Erisort Back to Safe Levels.
The Comhairle’s Environmental Health team has been notified that the raised levels of naturally occurring bivalve shellfish biotoxins at Loch Leurbost and Loch Erisort have returned to safe levels. The warnings against eating shellfish from these areas has now been lifted.
