From Tuesday 1st October, Museum nan Eilean, Stornoway will move to low season hours as usual. The museum will be open Tuesday to Saturday 1pm-4pm until after the October holidays.
From the week commencing 28th October Museum nan Eilean, Stornoway will operate on reduced opening hours to allow for ongoing data recovery work. Museum nan Eilean, Stornoway will be open from 1-4pm on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
The opening hours of the café at Lews Castle, operated by Together Travel, remain unchanged and the café can be accessed as usual via the main Castle entrance when the museum is closed.
Museum nan Eilean, Lionacleit will be open as normal and currently has ‘The Cry of the Curlew’ on show until Saturday 26 October. A new exhibition ‘Seinn Spioradail’ will open on Saturday 16 November.
