Young voices from Na h-Eileanan an Iar have spoken, thanks to a new survey conducted by Alannah Logue and Ellie Denehy, the Members of the Scottish Youth Parliament (MSYPs) for the Western Isles.

Cllr Kenny Macleod, Convener of Comhairle nan Eilean Siar, has paid tribute to former Member of Comhairle nan Eilean Siar, Mr Angus A Morrison, who passed away on 19 January 2025.

The issue affecting some Comhairle telecare alarms has been resolved. The Faire service is now fully functional and restored to normal service.

Comhairle nan Eilean Siar is continuing to work with the network provider to resolve an issue affecting some of the Comhairle’s telecare alarms.

Comhairle nan Eilean Siar must find around £4 million to achieve a balanced budget for 2025/26.
