“Parent” organisations or federations, membership range 200 persons minimum to 2000 persons maximum - £2.50 per head. Subject to presentation of full membership list or internal evidence of record gathering for full membership verification.
Grants are available to assist groups with running costs of Community Halls; assist Senior Citizens Groups with funding for mainland trips and support youth groups with purchasing equipment.
In 2023-24, three senior citizens groups received funding for their mainland trips; 12 Performance Grants were paid out to Community Halls/Community Centres to assist with running costs; Sail Stornoway received funding to assist with the Maritime Festival and Sea Angling Club received funding for a mainland fishing trip for the young people. 1 group received a per-capita grant.

Equipment Grants
Grants towards the provision of permanent equipment for voluntary organisations - up to 50% of approved costs (£1k cap on Youth Work). No assistance towards the costs of consumable items. Subject to evidence of expenditure.
Educational Youth Exchanges and Sports Competitions
Domestic Exchange (within the United Kingdom and Eire £25 per participant; upper limit £500. International Exchanges £50 per participant; upper limit £1000.
Senior Citizens and Residential Mainland Trips
£25 per participant with a maximum of £500 to any one group per trip.
Performance To Village Halls/Community Centres
Grant to help with ongoing running costs of the Community Centre/Hall. Evidence of a sample week of diary booking is required.
