Consumer and Environmental Services is responsible for enforcing and advising on a wide range of subjects, including Environmental Health, Trading Standards and Animal Welfare.
Our objective is to serve the communities and individuals of the Outer Hebrides by protecting public health. Our approach to enforcement can be found in the Consumer and Environmental Services Enforcement Policy.
More information on what we do and how we are performing can be found in our Annual Service Plan. The Consumer and Environmental Services team has officers based in Stornoway and Balivanich.
