Valtos is a respite facility based on the ground floor of Bremner Court with 15 self contained flats offering respite/short breaks for adults with wide range of health issues, for example, physical disabilities or dementia.
The facility enables informal carers in the community who care and support them throughout the year to get a well deserved short break from their caring role. There is also the availability of in reach support of the START (Short term assessment and reablement) team to service users accessing respite who would benefit from receiving intense support to maximize their independence.
