In the report, Ardseileach has been assessed to be good or very good in the 2 measured criteria and judged to have met 2 areas for improvement that had been identified following the Care Inspectorate’s last visit.
In evaluating quality, the Care Inspectorate use a six-point scale where 1 is unsatisfactory and 6 is excellent. Ardseileach received the following assessment.
How well do we support people's wellbeing? 4 - Good
How good is our staff team? 5 - Very Good
Some of the key points identified by the inspectors in the report were:
- People experienced support that promoted their wishes and choices and met their health and wellbeing.
- People enjoyed living in their homes.
- People had built positive relationships with staff and get on well with them.
- Families felt communication with service was very good.
- Staff worked well as part of a team.
- Motivated staff provide a high standard of support.
- Managers and seniors were approachable and always helpful.
- The service has continued to improve in the last year.
