The number of weeks selected on the pass commence from the day the pass is purchased and end 1, 2, 3 or 4 weeks to the day of purchase.
Terms and Conditions
- The visitor’s pass covers all activities which are included in Slàinte Mhath, however does not entitle the holder to the 50% discount on swimming lessons or Motiv8 activities.
- The pass can be used at all Comhairle nan Eilean Siar operated Leisure Facilities.
- The pass must only be used by the original purchaser and is not transferrable between friends or family. The pass will be cancelled if sharing is detected.
- The pass will only be valid for the number of weeks (between 1-4) specified by the customer at the time of purchase. A new pass may be purchased if required.
- The pass must be paid for at the time of purchase. Once the pass has been issued and paid for no refunds will be given for any non-use of weeks.
- The short-term pass is intended for use by non-permanent residents of the Western Isles, such as holiday-makers, students and short-term workers and as such, the pass will not be available to customers with a permanent HS postcode.
- To purchase a pass you must be over the age of 16.
- CnES reserves the right to review the terms & conditions of the pass at any point and to make any reasonable adjustments.
Data Information
- CnES require you to complete the visitor’s pass application form prior to or at the time of purchasing the pass.
- Your information will be retained on the Leisure Management System for the duration of your pass and will be removed upon expiry.
- The information you supply will be maintained in accordance with General Data Protection Regulations.

How are the number of weeks counted?
Will I receive a physical pass?
To save on plastic cards and to prevent cards being shared or lost, your pass will be available to you within our CnES Sports Facilities App, which is available through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Additionally, your pass details will be stored on the Leisure management database, so staff will be able to identify you through providing your name at reception if you can’t access the app.
Can a family use a visitor’s pass?
The visitor’s pass only covers an individual visitor for use of the facilities, however if you are a member of any participating LeisureLink site, you will be able to access our facilities free of charge or you can make use of our facilities on a ‘pay as you go’ basis.
Can I book activities on the app?
You will receive login details for our app which will allow you to book classes and activities for the duration of your pass. Once this expires you will then be charged standard pay as you go prices when booking activities on the app.
Is there a limit on the number of activities I can take part in through the pass?
The pass gives you unlimited use of our facilities and activities, for the duration of your pass. Some activities such as classes need to be booked in advance - individual centres will be able to inform you of specific booking conditions.
What are the prices for a pass?
You can choose the length of your pass depending on your own requirements and the pricing is as follows:
Individual Membership

- 3 Weeks - £45
- 4 Weeks - £60
An additional pass can be purchased upon expiry if required.
