Annual Reports on Participation Requests

1. In the period from 1 April 2017 to 30 March 2018, the Comhairle received one participation request, from Families into Sport for Health.
2. The Comhairle agreed to the participation request.
3. The outcome improvement process to which the request relates is not complete, so it is not yet known whether or not the request will result in changes to a public service provided by the Comhairle. Upon completion of the process, the Comhairle will publish a report in accordance with section 31 of the Act.
4. The Comhairle promotes the use of participation requests by a page on its website which provides relevant information. The Comhairle has received no other expression of interest from a community participation body in the making of a participation request, so it has not had to take any action to support a community participation body in the making of a participation request.
