It can contain:

  • Food and drink bottles and jars 
  • Glass bottles and jars
  • Condiment bottles and jars
  • Toiletry and perfume bottles
  • Metal bottle tops and corks can go in this recycling bin  

It cannot contain:

  • Crockery, ceramics and pyrex
  • Windows and mirrors
  • Drinking glasses
  • Light bulbs
  • Broken glass

Wash your glass bottles and jars. 2 Place your glass recycling into the green bin. Metal bottle tops and corks can go in this bin too. Your glass bin should beplaced at the kerbside on your collection day and we will collect it every eight weeks.  Glass bottles and jars can be recycled into new glass products.
