Enrolment is now open for children due to start in nursery during 2024-25 and for those due to start in P1 and S1 in August 2024. Please use the relevant section of the website below to find the information that you need.

School Enrolment (P1 and S1 only)

Parents wishing to enrol their child for P1 and S1 in August 2024 should complete the School Enrolment Online Form. Please be aware that you will require your child’s birth certificate for the enrolment process for P1 and S1. The online enrolment service is currently only available for P1 and S1 for August 2024. If you wish to enrol a child into other year groups, please contact the relevant school office directly.

Enrolment for P1 and S1 should be completed by Friday 8 March 2024.

Early Learning and Childcare Enrolment

Enrolment is also open now for children due to start Early Learning and Childcare Centres for the autumn, spring and summer 2024-25. Parents wishing to find out more about ELC enrolment should visit our Early Learning and Childcare Enrolment webpage. Please note that online enrolment is not available for ELCs this year and information is included on the page about how parents can enrol their children for this service.

Deferred Entry to P1

Since 2023, parents of children that are eligible to enrol in P1 but will not yet have turned five-years-old by the start of P1 in August can request to defer entry to school.
