Outer Hebrides Community Planning Partnership
The Outer Hebrides Community Planning Partnership (OHCPP) Service consists of the Community Partnership Coordinator and Administrative Officer, within the Chief Executive’s Department.
The Outer Hebrides Community Planning Partnership (OHCPP) comprises a wide range of public agency partners and community and third sector bodies who work together to deliver our collective ambitions for the future of our islands. The Comhairle is represented on the Outer Hebrides Community Planning Partnership’s Board by Elected Members, the Chief Executive and the Principal Strategy Manager.
The vision of the Outer Hebrides Community Planning Partnership is to promote and realise the full potential of the Outer Hebrides as a prosperous, well-educated and healthy community enjoying a good quality of life, fully appreciating the benefits of our natural environment and cultural values.
Community Planning is about public agencies working together with the Community to plan and deliver better services which make a difference to people’s lives.
In 2015 the Community Empowerment (Scotland) Act 2015 placed a duty on Community Planning Partners to prepare and publish a Local Outcomes Improvement Plan (LOIP) which sets out local priorities, aims, objectives and projected outcomes.
The Local Outcome Improvement Plan and annual LOIP Progress Review for 2018/19 are available on the OHCPP Website. Agendas,Minutes and Reports can be accessed.
The Comhairle supports the work of the Outer Hebrides Community Planning Partnership through the Community Partnership Coordinator and also provides the secretariat.
