This remit of this committee is:

• Delegated Functions

  To purpose criteria for approval by Comhairle nan Eilean Siar and NHS Eileanan Siar to assess the appropriate level of care required by an adult in accordance with the agreed policies from time to time of NHS Eileanan Siar and Comhairle nan Eilean Siar;

  To consider arrangements for joint assessment and management of cases.

  To consider such other health issues as the Chief Executive of NHS Eileanan Siar may from time to time advise the Chief Executive of the Comhairle in writing.

• Referred Functions

  To make representations regarding the governance arrangements of the Community Health and Social Care Partnership.

  To inform policy formation by Comhairle nan Eilean Siar and NHS Eileanan Siar.

  To consider and make recommendations in relation to any potential areas of joint working referred by either NHS Eileanan Siar or Comhairle nan Eilean Siar.

  To propose a budget from within Cash Planning Limits set by Comhairle nan Eilean Siar or NHS Eileanan Siar.

  To inform setting of Capital Programme of Comhairle nan Eilean Siar.

  To act as service committee in relation to human resources matters affecting the CHaSCP and services referred to the Comhairle
