Day Clubs

Day Club Annual Grants

This grant scheme supports Day Clubs throughout our local communities.

Start Up Grants

The following start up funding is available for new clubs:

• Under 10 members = £250
• 11-20 members = £345
• 21 or more members = £450

Annual Grants

Payments are calculated as follows:

• Per Capita Grant = 50p per person (annual attendance)
• Heating Costs = Half of annual cost up to a maximum of £150
• Hall Rental = Half of the annual cost up to a maximum of £150
• Transport = Half of annual cost up to a maximum of £250

To comply with audit requirements, a financial statement must be submitted with each annual grant application form.

All relevant correspondence and contact details of Day Club office bearers will be held in the Health & Social Care Department.
