Island Businesses Asked For Views
Western Isles businesses are being encouraged to take part in the biggest state of the nation business survey.
The Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) Scotland is currently conducting The Big Small Business Survey (Opens in a new window or downloads a file). The survey takes a comprehensive look at the key issues facing businesses at the moment: everything from trading conditions to Net Zero to regulation, staffing, fair work, skills, entrepreneurship, prices, tourism, Community Wealth Building/procurement, finance, digital, and more.
The Comhairle’s Chair of Sustainable Development, Cllr Donald Crichton said:
“Surveys of this type are important to allow a full understanding of the issues facing businesses at this challenging point in the economic cycle. There will be many voices from across Scotland coming through in this survey and it will be important that the specific issues and challenges facing island businesses come through loud and clear. I would therefore encourage as many local businesses as possible to participate in what the FSB has described as “the biggest state-of-the-nation business survey” ever undertaken.”
The survey is open to FSB members and non-members alike. It closes at 5pm on Friday the 10th of March.
