Festive Period Refuse and Recycling Collections
There are a number of planned changes to Refuse and Recycling Collections in the Western Isles between Monday 25 December 2017 and Monday 1 January 2018.
Collection times may vary and the revised day of collection may be before the usual day of collection. Householders are requested to present their wheeled bins at the kerbside by 8am on the revised collection day.
Lewis & Harris
Lewis Residual and Organic collections
There will be no refuse collection in the Shawbost, Scalpay, and Inner Point areas on 25th December 2017. The revised dates for these areas are as follows:
Friday 22nd December 2017 - Shawbost
Shawbost, Bragar, Laxdale, Laxdale Lane, Laxdale Court, Guershader, Ravens Lane, Redcliffe Place
Saturday 23rd December 2017 – Scalpay

Saturday 23rd December 2017 – Inner Point

There will be no refuse collection in the Carloway, Tarbert, and Outer Point areas on 1st January 2018. The revised dates for these areas are as follows:
