The Sport Centre has a 25m, four lane deck level pool, which ranges from 0.9m in the shallow end to 1.8m at the deep end. The pool is available during scheduled daytime slots (weekdays), most week-day evenings and during the day at weekends. We also have extended opening hours during school holiday periods.
General Guidance
During peak times 'Open Swim' tickets are for a maximum of 60 minutes. There is also a maximum bather load which cannot be exceeded so there may be occasions when you are asked to wait until a few swimmers leave, during very busy times.
- Last swim ticket is 30 minutes before closing.
- Please be aware of other pool users and give others space.
- Poolside showers are available, during peak times customers should limit their time in this area.
- Lockers are available, these accept an old pound coin/trolley token.
- Please be respectful to lifeguards and follow any instructions they give you.
Sauna
There is a sauna* available poolside. Pay as you go customers can purchase a sauna swim ticket at reception, Slàinte Mhath members must inform reception if they intend to use the sauna so that we can record sauna usage.
*The Sauna is available for those aged 16yrs and over.
