Employment of Children - Byelaws

Notice is hereby given under section 202 of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973 of the Comhairle’s intention to apply to Scottish Ministers for confirmation of its Byelaws on the Employment of Children 2021 which were approved by the Comhairle at its meeting on 31 March 2021.

Given current coronavirus restrictions, inspection of the Byelaws at the Comhairle’s offices is not practicable.  The Byelaws may be inspected at the link below or upon request sent to Mr Tim Langley, Legal and Procurement Manager, by email (tim.langley@cne-siar.gov.uk) or by post (Council Offices, Sandwick Road, Stornoway, Isle of Lewis HS1 2BW).

Any objections to the Byelaws must be sent to Mr Langley.
