Stornoway Primary Metagama production a sell out!

Tickets for the Stornoway Primary Metagama production have now sold out.

The event will be held in the Nicolson Institute on Friday the 21st of April 2023 at 18.30. The event is the sixth in a series of eight commemoration events by pupils from across Lewis and falls on the centenary date of the sailing of the SS Metagama from Stornoway on the 21st of April 1923.

Evelyn Coull MacLeod, Gaelic Education Manager said:
"We have been overwhelmed by the support shown by schools, parents and the wider community in bringing these events to fruition. I would encourage those who have tickets, but for whatever reason may not be able to go, to share information via our Facebook page (@Dileab) (Opens in a new window or downloads a file) in order to release tickets for members of the public who would like to be in attendance. The event will be live streamed and further information on this will be made available soon".
