Lifeguard Training Course

The Sports and Leisure Service is holding a Lifeguard training course in October to assist with recruitment of staff.

A spokesperson, said: “The Leisure and Hospitality sector across the country continues to have problems recruiting and retaining staff. In a small community like ours, these problems are even more difficult to resolve. Over the coming weeks, we have significant staffing challenges and we wanted to let customers know that there may be occasions where we have to amend or restrict services. Please be assured we will do our very best to avoid this.”
