Stuck on Total Heat Total Control – You don’t need to be!

Hebrides Energy has launched a NEW fixed tariff for customers with storage heaters, providing an opportunity for customers to achieve significant savings and secure guaranteed prices until September 2019. 

The new fixed Hebridean Take Control Tariff is offered in partnership with Scottish not-for-profit energy supplier, Our Power.   At a time when many suppliers have increased their prices, this means local households could secure a competitive fixed rate right up to September 2019.

Chair of Hebrides Energy, Carola Bell, commented: ‘At a time when electricity prices continue to rise, we know there is interest in the certainty a fixed rate tariff can offer. Island homes with THTC meters have traditionally been disadvantaged as they’ve had no option but to stick with one supplier. We’re delighted to be working with Our Power to improve competition in the local market and hopefully generate considerable savings for local households.’

While savings will vary for each household, a current comparison between SSE Total Heat Total Control tariff shows a potential annual saving of at least £245 (or 19%) when switching to Hebrides Take control fixed tariff.   This fixed rate tariff is only available to direct debit customers. However, Hebrides Energy also provides competitive variable tariffs for consumers on THTC, standard or Economy 7/Economy 10 meters across all payment types.
