First Aid Training for Sports Coaches

This 6 hour certificated course will cover administering first aid to a casualty with concussion, injuries to bones, muscles and joints including suspected spinal injuries, chest injuries, burn and scalds, eye injuries, sudden poisoning and anaphylactic shock. As well as recognising the presence of major illness and providing first aid, including - heart attack, stroke, epilepsy, asthma and diabetes.

Coaches must attend both dates.

This course is being offered to all Lewis and Harris Sports Council Club coaches for £20 but cost £40 for non-affiliated Coaches.

This is a great opportunity for club coaches to attend a certificated first aid course.

Places will be booked on a ‘first come-first served’ basis.
