Help With Funeral Costs

The Funeral Payment is provided by the Department for Work and Pensions. This provides a contribution towards funeral costs and is available to relatives or friends of the person who has died who are on certain benefits and have responsibility for organising the funeral.

To apply for a Funeral Payment the person organising the funeral should contact the Department for Work and Pensions:
